BMcks Apps (operated by a solo developer based in Silicon Valley) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use our suite of applications: MindReset, SleepWell, BudgetBoss, CalorieCrush, FitCrush, HabitStack, MoodLog, WriteOS, ManifestX, and FocusFlow.
Our apps are designed to be device-first — core functionality works entirely on your device with no account required. No personal registration, no mandatory sign-up, no passwords.
By using any BMcks App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the app and clear your browser/app data.
The following table summarises all data types collected across BMcks Apps, as declared in the Google Play Data Safety section:
| Data Type | Collected? | Shared? | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| Location (Approximate) | Yes | Yes (AdSense) | Advertising targeting |
| Purchase History | Yes | Not shared | Processing in-app purchases via Stripe |
| Health & Fitness Info | Yes | Conditional | Core app function; shared with OpenAI for premium AI features only |
| App Interactions | Yes | Not shared | App functionality; processed ephemerally |
| User-Generated Content | Yes | Conditional | In-app storage; shared with OpenAI for premium AI features only |
| Device or Other IDs | Yes | Yes (AdSense) | Ad targeting via Google AdSense |
Google AdSense — our advertising partner — may collect approximate location data (derived from your IP address or device) to serve relevant ads. This is standard behaviour for ad-supported apps and websites.
ℹ️ BMcks Apps itself does not request, store, or use your GPS or precise location at any time.
If you purchase a premium plan or AI credits, your transaction is processed securely by Stripe. We store a record of your purchase to activate your subscription or credit balance.
Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. Learn more at stripe.com/privacy.
Several apps collect health and wellness data as their core function. This data is used to provide the app's features and is stored locally on your device by default.
⚠️ When you use premium AI features, your health data (calories, sleep data, journal entries) is transmitted to OpenAI for processing. This is covered by OpenAI's Privacy Policy at openai.com/privacy. You can avoid this by not using AI features.
We collect basic app interaction data to ensure the app works correctly and to understand how features are used.
BMcks Apps allow you to create and store personal content within the apps. Examples include:
Local-first: All user content is stored locally on your device and never uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly use a feature that requires it (e.g., journal history sync or AI analysis).
Journal history (Supabase): If the journal history persistence feature is enabled, your journal entries are stored in our Supabase database to allow access across sessions. This data is secured and not shared with any third party for advertising purposes.
AI analysis (OpenAI): If you request AI-powered insights (premium feature), your journal, meal, or budget entries are transmitted to OpenAI for processing. You may opt out by not using AI features.
Google AdSense may collect and use device identifiers (such as advertising IDs, cookie identifiers, or browser fingerprint data) to serve targeted ads and measure ad performance.
BMcks Apps may also assign an anonymous, randomly-generated session ID stored in localStorage to enable consistent app behaviour across sessions. This ID contains no personal information.
Local storage: The majority of your data is stored directly on your device using browser localStorage or app storage. This data is only accessible on your device.
Server-side storage: Where server-side features are used (journal history sync, purchase records, push notification subscriptions), data is stored in Supabase — a secure, managed database platform.
Encryption: All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Data at rest in Supabase is encrypted by the platform.
BMcks Apps operate on a device-based model with no user accounts. You do not need to create an account, provide an email address, or log in to use the core features of any app.
ℹ️ Because there are no user accounts, there is no centralised "Delete My Account" button. Your device data can be cleared at any time. To request deletion of server-side data, use our Data Deletion Request form below.
BMcks Apps integrate the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy and data practices:
BMcks Apps are intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions).
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through one of our apps, please contact us immediately at bmcksos@polsia.app. We will promptly delete any such information.
⚠️ These apps are NOT designed for or directed at children. If you are under 18, please do not use BMcks Apps.
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at bmcksos@polsia.app.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Continued use of any BMcks App after a policy update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
